Fishing Ball

This is the stall near my place at Hougang Point Festival Market. Before the renovation, it was named Fishing Ball Noodle-- I found it quite hilarious 6 years ago... I had been immuned to its humour till now when I visited STOMP ... someone had posted this!

Apicectomy

Went for this operation today - it is the removal of the tip of the root, needed when infection persists after root canal treatment. Had root canal and crown done a year ago but still hurt that's why went for checkup and found the infection .......... so unfortunate! The crown cost about $1000 and this surgery another $500...... should have taken better care of my teeth when young, not taught about flossing those days!
The op was very painful - not from the procedure itself (the area was numbed) but the pain was from the retraction of my lips to exposed the area - the corner of my mouth was stretched until it torn and bled. When the anaesthesia worn off, it really hurts and the area all swelled up and bruised! The only consolation is I am given 5 days of medical leave :)

Cantonese Drama Serial Marathon

Was on leave for one whole week. Watch 3 sets of hk drama series! Each set - 40 Cds. Thanks or no thanks to Lai Leng - it's such a waste of time but rather enjoyable 'cos no one at home converse in cantonese.... losing the ability to comprehend certain terms!!!

Back to work.... quite quiet, don't know wat happen? Probably more competition from the region or cos of avian flu that there is less evacuation.

That's why no mid- year bonus .... just got $50 for getting the JCI accreditation... miserable miserable! Wonder wat the year end bonus be like?
